Opened in 1993, the original Backyard was a small venue hosting a wide variety of music legends like David Bowie, Bob Dylan, and Willie Nelson. The new iteration of The Backyard being planned weaves together technology, entertainment, workspaces, and music throughout Bee Caves, creating a city-wide backyard. Ethan’s View at The Backyard will be a new, upscale living development of townhomes and condominium that features breathtaking views of the Hill Country, formalist architecture, and natural construction materials. Janke is excited to be a part of the design team tasked with creating an experiential graphics program that seamlessly integrates with the project’s sophisticated cosmopolitan architecture.
