UNT’s newest residence hall for a growing student population

As the University of North Texas campus thrives, so does its student population and demand for on campus living. To accommodate this growth, UNT is building a $5 million 5 story residence hall to supply 500 beds in a unique pod style of contemporary design to promote community amongst residents.The sign program which consists of over 600 individual sign locations, utilizes the UNT campus sign standards. The residence hall phase is schedule for completion in 2018.
 
In addition an adjacent 20,000-square-foot tour center is being designed to accommodate the 50,000 people who tour the campus each year. The vision of the tour center is for it to be a place to greet visitors that speaks to the quality of the university. Janke is proposing a signage program that supports a visitor experience that communicates the values, mission, and history of the university.
