Austin’s newest Micro Unit apartment development, named Indie Apartments, to break ground in East Austin soon. The development will consist of 139 rental apartments ranging in size from 350 sq. ft. for a studio, to 520 sq. ft. for a two-bedroom unit. The Micro Unit concept has been growing in popularity locally and nationally as individuals seek less expensive housing options near amenities and downtown. Janke has been awarded the experiential graphic design work for the project, to help accentuate the unique sense of place, the name and location bring to the community.
