Dec 08 – Complex Garage Receives Bright Clear Design
Parking garages… often dark and congested with different entrances and users per level, require well thought-out wayfinding methodology and architectural graphics programs. Jankedesign provided such a program for a high-rise tower garage in downtown Austin.

Oct 08 – Helping Universities Expand Their Programs
As many colleges expand throughout the state, Jankedesign is proud to have helped document and apply existing signage standards for the new Texas State RR Nursing development.

Jul 08 – Utilitarian Sign Program Lookin Good! 
Always looking for ways to improve a project, Jankedesign designs a handsome, hardworking, brand sensitive comprehensive sign program for Austin Community College’s Rio Grande parking garage.

May 08 – Re-Designed Vegas ICSC Booth… A Big Hit!
Collaborating with the Schlosser Development team, Owner of the ICSC booth space, Jankedesign selected, specified and designed the entire booth and furnishings, as a preview to the company’s future brand repositioning. The process was invigorating, and the booth was a big success. Congratulations team Schlosser!

Apr 08 – Austin Film Society Brand Extension… in 3-D.
Collaborating with creatively minded organizations always gets our juices flowing. The Jankedesign studio is excited to work with the impressively talented Austin Film Society, on their brand intensive, uniquely Austin, environmental graphics program that connects the brand with authentic storytelling and placemaking at it’s best.

Apr 08 – Creating a Sense of Place for Public Buildings
Jankedesign completes custom environmental graphic design program for the exterior and interior spaces of the existing Tarrant County Plaza Building, located in downtown Fort Worth, Texas.

Apr 08 – Storytelling for Genome Lab
Jankedesign creates a storytelling video / media wall for the Genome Lab, formed by a joint partnership between Texas A&M Systems and Scott & White Hospitals.

Mar 08 – Nature Preserve Program Strictly for the Birds!
Jankedesign receives commission for the environmental graphic design and interpretive graphics program for the 1,200 acre Port Aransas Nature Preserve Master Plan, in Port Aransas, Texas, along the Gulf of Mexico. The Preserve provides protection of the natural area to be used in a sustainable manner for aesthetic enjoyment, as well as recreational, educational, and scientific purposes. The EGD program and interpretive displays will encompass the upland trails, elevated boardwalks, viewing towers, guided trails, camping, and an information/education center.

Mar 08 – Hikers, Bikers and Climbers “Rock Out” at Park.
Milton Reimers Ranch Park, located along the Pedernales River, outside of Austin, Texas, is the newest addition to the Travis County Park System. Jankedesign has been commissioned to provide environmental graphic design services for the interpretive, storytelling, and overall park sign design program. The well-loved park offers 18 miles of competitive biking trails, world class rock climbing, fishing, hiking, wildlife/nature observation, and picnicking with deep canyons and panoramic views of Texas Hill Country.

Feb 08 – Gaylord Texan Resort Gets Even Bigger
Jankedesign has been hired to provide environmental graphic design and wayfinding services for the $315 million Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center expansion. The expansion will add more than 200,000 sq. ft. of meeting and convention space, approximately 500 luxury guestrooms and a resort pool.

Jan 08 – Holistic Brand Approach to Corporate Developments
Jankedesign provides their holistic design approach to the brand identity design, corporate marketing brochure and environmental graphic design program for the San Antonio Texas Hill Country corporate development — Overlook at the Rim.

Jan 08 – Pediatric Research Institute – LEED Certified
Jankedesign completes a comprehensive interior and exterior signage and master plan program for the LEED certified Dell Pediatric Research Institute, in Austin, Texas. The institute, also funded by the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, will create a venue for collaboration between researchers, as well as clinicians, faculty and researchers throughout the University of Texas System and in Austin hospitals and clinics — another LEED project where the Jankedesign team provided greener and cleaner solutions.

Jan 08 – Building a Legacy Brand…
Creating a brand and website for the new start-up company, Legacy Stonecraft, was an inspiring charge that Jankedesign could not pass up. Jankedesign created a timeless identity which echos the company’s custom granite profiles, and reinforced the brand through the website design.
